Postdoctoral Positions

We invite highly motivated recent PhD graduates or candidates about to graduate, who have a strong interest in our research areas, to conduct postdoctoral research at the Postdoctoral Research Station of Computer Science and Technology, Fudan University.

Research Areas include (but are not limited to):

• Computer Vision (video understanding, text detection and recognition)
• Vision and Language, multimodal analysis and reasoning
• Trustworthy AI and robust machine learning
• AI applications in biomedicine, financial risk control, etc.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct independent research in relevant fields;
2. Supervise PhD, Master, and undergraduate students;
3. Lead or participate in grant applications and lab development.

Requirements:

1. Generally under 35 years old;
2. PhD degree obtained within the last 3 years;
3. Strong innovation and research capabilities. In the last 3 years, published at least 2 papers in CCF-A recommended journals/conferences (or equivalent); OR participated in major national research projects with rich engineering practice experience;
4. Good physical health, strong work ethic, and team collaboration spirit.

Benefits:

1. Excellent research environment and ample funding; support for applying for various national/local funds and postdoctoral support projects;
2. Salary and insurance in accordance with national and university regulations. Annual salary no less than RMB 300,000. Candidates selected for the "Super Postdoc" or "BoXin" plans will receive higher compensation (BoXin plan recipients: no less than RMB 500,000/year);
3. Assistance with postdoctoral housing and children's admission to Fudan University affiliated kindergarten/primary school, subject to university policies.
