The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) has announced the 2025 ACM Distinguished Members. A total of 61 experts from 16 countries and regions worldwide were selected, including only 11 from Asia, with 7 scholars from China. Professor Yu-gang Jiang was elected in recognition of his outstanding contributions to large-scale video analysis.

Following expert review, Ph.D. student Yongkun Du from the Vision and Learning Laboratory at Fudan University was selected for the CIE–Tencent Ph.D. Research Incentive Program (Hunyuan Large Model Track), in recognition of his outstanding research achievements in frontier areas of large-scale models.

At the 2025 annual meeting of the CCF Technical Committee on Computer Vision (CCF-CV), Ph.D. student Junke Wang from the Vision and Learning Laboratory at Fudan University received the 2025 CCF-CV Rising Star Award. Only three recipients nationwide were selected for this honor.

ICCV 2025 will be held from October 19 to 23 at the Honolulu Convention Center, Hawaii, USA. The conference received 11,239 valid submissions and accepted 2,698 papers, resulting in an acceptance rate of 24.0%. The Vision and Learning Laboratory at Fudan University had 15 papers accepted, covering key research areas such as embodied intelligence, multimodal large models, image and video generation, and multimodal adversarial learning.

The China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) has announced the first cohort of the Youth Talent Support Program (Ph.D. Track). Ph.D. student Junke Wang from the Vision and Learning Laboratory at Fudan University was selected, with the supporting academic society being the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence.
